# How to run an education verification check
## Learn how to run a background check
1. Navigate to the **"Users" Tab** to get started.
2. Select the **"USER"** you want to run the Education Check for.
3. Click the **"Background Checks"** button.
4. Select the **"Education Verification"** Check.
5. After entering the education details, click **"Submit"** to initiate the check.
6. Within a User's Profile, click **"View Records"** to view instant results of the Education Check.
7. Select the **"Education"** tab.
8. Here, you can view the outcome of the **Education Check**.
