How to integrate our APIs with your website
To integrate our APIs, follow these steps:
- Obtain your API Key: It is available under our portal’s “Settings” tab.
- Use the API key in the Authorization header of the API in the call to the necessary endpoints.
- You can now use our APIs to integrate with your application. You can read our API documentation for more information.
API Key
Accessing your API Key or Bearer Token in Authenticate® is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to locate and copy your unique API Key:
Step 1: Begin by logging onto your Authenticate® account. Ensure you have the necessary credentials to access the settings where your API Key is stored.
Step 2: Once logged in, navigate to the settings tab. This area contains various account options, including API credentials.
Step 3: Find and click on the eye icon 👁️. This action prompts you to enter your password, revealing your unique API Key.
Step 4: To use your API Key in applications or integrations, click the "Copy" button. This will copy the key to your clipboard, making it easy to paste wherever needed.
Step 5: Use the API Key in your API requests. It must be included in the Authorization header as a Bearer token. You will now be able to successfully make API requests to Authenticate’s endpoints.
