Streamline Your Guest Verification Process with Authenticate's Integration for Shopify!
This guide outlines the process for integrating Authenticate® with your Shopify store. This integration enables e-commerce store owners to implement identity verification for certain products before shipment, ensuring compliance and enhancing transaction security.
Prerequisites
- A merchant account with Shopify.com
- An account registered with Authenticate® must be authorized to connect with your Shopify store.
Integration Process
- Register/Sign Up
- Create an account by registering on our portal.
- Installing the App
- Install the Authenticate® app from the Shopify App Store to integrate identity verification services into your Shopify store.
- Payment
- Once the app is installed and connected to Authenticate®, you will be directed to a payment confirmation page within Shopify to confirm your subscription.
- Setup Products to be Monitored
- Navigate to the Authenticate® portal at Authenticate® Integrations, select 'Integrations' > 'E-Commerce Store', and choose the products for which you require identity verification before shipping. These are designated as “monitored products.”
- Monitor Orders
- When an order includes a monitored product, the purchaser will receive an email with instructions on verifying their identity.
- Identity Verification
- Once the purchaser verifies their identity through Authenticate®’s Medallion™ system, you will receive an email detailing the verification results.
- Customization
- Utilize the Theme Editor on the Authenticate® portal to customize the verification user experience. Enhancements can include adding your store's logo to the header and customizing fonts, colors, and buttons to match your store’s theme.
