      What is a User Access Code (UAC)?

      A User Access Code (UAC) is a unique identifier assigned to each user within the AuthenticateĀ® system. This code is a primary means of referencing and managing individual user records across various tools and features offered by AuthenticateĀ®. Whether conducting background checks, verifying identities, or tracking user history, the UAC allows efficient and accurate user data management.

      Key Features of the User Access Code (UAC)

      1. Unique Identifier: Each UAC is a unique code generated automatically for every new user. This uniqueness ensures that every user can be distinguished clearly from others within the system, even if some user details, like names or addresses, might be similar.
      2. Quick Search & Retrieval: The UAC allows administrators to locate user information quickly in the Authenticate portal. Instead of combing through long lists or complex data sets, admins can instantly refer to the UAC to pull up the relevant user profile.
      3. Security and Privacy: The UAC is a unique code that adds an extra layer of privacy and security. Instead of sharing sensitive personal information, the UAC can reference a user without revealing their private details.
      4. Link to Reservation IDs: The UAC is associated with a user's reservation ID for some integrations, such as with Guesty ****and Hostaway. This connection allows admins to trace user reservation information within the system, streamlining cross-referencing between different data sets and functions.
      5. Centralized User Management: The UAC is a backbone for centralized user management in the AuthenticateĀ® ecosystem. It is tied to all user interactions within the platform, from the verification processes to compliance checks, ensuring that all user activity is easily traceable and accessible.

      How to Find the User Access Code (UAC)

      Two simple methods exist to locate and copy a User Access Code (UAC) within the AuthenticateĀ® platform. Follow the steps below to retrieve the UAC quickly.

      Method 1: Copying the UAC from the USERS Tab

      1. Access Users: From your dashboard, navigate to the "USERS" tab.

      2. Copy the UAC: Once you locate the user, click the copy button next to the UAC field. This will instantly copy the UAC to your clipboard for easy pasting.image-1

      Method 2: Copying the UAC from the URL

      1. Access Users: From your dashboard, navigate to the "USERS" tab
      2. Select the Desired User: Click the desired user to open the user's profile page.
      3. Copy the UAC from the URL: The User Access Code can be copied from the address URL bar at the top of your browser. To Access it, highlight and copy the UAC directly from the URL.image (1)
